​How Do I Place An Order?

 

If you would like to place an order for any item on the website, please just add it to your cart and you can check out directly or through Paypal. You can also email me, message through Facebook, or send a message through the website. All of the contact information is under the "Contact Me" page of the website.

Do You Do Custom Requests and Orders?

Absolutely! I love making things that we design together! Just because you see something in a weave or color that I have designed, you might want something in different shade or color, material, or size. If I can get the materials in what you want, we can make it happen! 

If you need something on a rush basis, there may be a rush fee of $25-$100 on your order. However, we will discuss that prior to your order being processed.

Custom orders require payment IN FULL before work begins. We will have extensive discussions on material, weave, color, size, etc. before I begin work or order rings/materials for your order. Please note: I do not offer refunds of any sort on custom orders.

 

What is Niobium and Why Do You Use It?

I do not use aluminum or unidentified alloy earring hooks in my shop. I use Niobium.

 

Niobium (formerly known as Columbium) is a nickel free metal that is known to be low-reactive in terms of metal sensitivities. I use Niobium for nearly all of my earrings because nickel sensitivities and allergies are so common these days, that I wanted to make my shop a place that people with sensitive ears could shop. 

Even the colored hooks in my shop are niobium. They are colored use electricity and not using a chemical coating. Therefore, even the colored hooks for earrings are safe for people with nickel allergies.

Note: The only other metals for earrings hooks that I use are titanitum (also hypoallergenic and nickel free) and silver. I will ALWAYS note in a listing if the earring hooks on an item are not niobium. If a listing states that the hooks are something other than niobium and you need me to change it, I will do so at no extra charge.

If you would like to change the earring hooks on a listing from niobium to sterling silver or gold, there will be a $3 additional charge to do so. There may also be an additional wait time on your order to ship, as I may need to order the materials from one of my suppliers.

Do You Make Your Own Rings? Where do you get your rings and scales?

I do not make my own rings at this time. Instead, I order my rings from a select number of ring makers from the United States, Canada, and one person in Germany. I do this so that you will know that the quality of the metal is held to an extremely high standard. None of my rings or scales are ever ordered from China.

I See That You Use A Lot of Crystals In Your Work. What Kind Are They?

Nearly all of the crystals I use in my work are Swarovski crystals. I do this because they are the gold standard of crystals on the market and offer the best shine and sparkle available. 

 

I do sometimes use real gemstones, and that will always be noted in the listing.

Are You Online Only or Do You Go To Events I Can Visit and See You In Person?

You can find our Schedule of Events under our Home page, where we will list events as we confirm them. If there is a show you would like us to look into attending, we would love to hear from you!

Returns & Refunds

 

I do not offer refunds. I am happy to work with you to ensure that you are 100% happy with your order and my work, but as a small business and one woman show, all of the money from orders is immediately put back into the business, be it materials, tools, table fees, or random things to make the store even better.

Returns will be processed as an exchange. Customers must notify me within 5 business days of receipt of a package if something is wrong with an order. I am happy to work with you to make sure that you are thrilled with your purchase, and I will repair or replace anything in the event something goes wrong with an order or piece. 

I must receive notification of an item being shipped back to me within 3 days of initial notification of something being wrong.

I do not accept returns on earrings for sanitary purposes. None of the earrings have been worn prior to them being shipped.

I do not offer refunds of any sort on custom orders.

Payment and Shipping

 

Payment is expected in full upon ordering unless other arrangements are made in advance.

I will offer layaway/payment plans on custom items over $250. Terms of layaway are no more than three payments unless prior arrangements are made with me before ordering.

Custom orders require payment IN FULL before work begins. We will have extensive discussions on material, weave, color, size, etc. before I begin work or order rings/materials for your order. Please note: I do not offer refunds of any sort on custom orders.

Items that are in stock at the time of ordering will ship within a week (usually sooner). Custom orders will ship upon completion, and we will discuss the deadline for completion and shipment before finalizing the order.

 

My preferred method of shipping is through the United States Postal Service for domestic shipping. I will provide a tracking number on orders. Shipping charges are $4 for the first item, and $0.50 for each additional item within the United States. 

Shipping to Canada is $11 with $2 for each additional item.

 

All other international orders will need to contact me before ordering so that I can add appropriate shipping/customs prices.

Customers are responsible for all customs/duties/taxes. Due to federal laws, I will not mark an international shipment as a "gift" to circumvent the customs charges on a package.

I accept direct checkout through Square (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, et al.) and Paypal on the website. Both methods are secure.

 

I do not store your credit card information on this site, whatsoever.

I do not store credit card information on this site for security reasons. 

I do not sell any customer information to any third parties. 

Any personal information is for ordering and purchase purposes only. In the event that Meloria Maille eventually decides to operate an email mailing list, customers will be given the opportunity to "opt-out" of emails. Trust me, there's enough email out there, and I'm not inclined to add to the electronic noise if it's not wanted!
